Betty Ann Nellor

Mrs. Betty Ann Nellor, age 76, of Audubon, IA, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Friendship Home in Audubon, IA.

Betty was born on August 10, 1948, in Columbus, NE. She is the daughter of Steven and Tillie (Sucan) Kmoch. She attended schools in South Omaha, graduating with the class of 1966. A few years later, she married James Nellor in Omaha. They lived in Omaha, where she worked for Douglas County, performing a wide range of clerical duties. In 1992, James and Betty moved their family to Audubon. She then worked as a dispatcher for the Audubon County Sheriff's Department.

Betty cherished spending time with family and friends, sipping coffee and enjoying a good laugh. She loved watching her soap operas and game shows, going on casino trips, and playing board games. She devoted a lot of love to her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her husband James Nellor, son Steven Nellor, James Jr., and daughter Dawn Nellor, all of Audubon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Tillie, and a Brother, Steve Kmoch.

Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Audubon, with Pastor Sheryl Puderbaugh officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
