Brian Jay Foresman

Brian Jay Foresman, the son of Max Duain and Ruth Della Stonoff Foresman was born April 20, 1963, at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa and died July 14, 2012 at the Bickford Senior Living in Urbandale, Iowa at the age of 49 years, 2 months, and 24 days. Brian was baptized as an infant at Bowman Chapel in rural Guthrie County, Iowa and was confirmed on June 4, 1978, at the First United Methodist Church in Audubon. He attended Guthrie Community Schools for one year and then attended Audubon Community Schools graduating with the High School Class of 1982. During high school he was selected to attend Boys State in 1981 and became a member of the National Honor Society in his junior year. He was very active in drama while in high school and was in several plays. He then attended Southeast Nebraska Community College graduating in 1984 where he went for automotive body repair. Brian worked for a body shop in Lyman, south of Atlantic, Iowa for a short time. On April 18, 1986, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served until he was honorably discharged on June 15, 1987. He then made his home in Atlantic, Iowa. In 1990 he participated in the sheltered workshop for Cass Incorporated in Atlantic, Iowa until February of 2012 due to a heart attack. Since then he resided at Bickford Senior Living in Urbandale, Iowa. Brian was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Audubon. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish for largemouth bass. Preceding him in death was his father Max D. Foresman. Survivors include his mother Ruth D. Foresman of Audubon, Iowa; his sister Janet and husband Kevin Hircock of Adel, Iowa; his niece and nephews: Molly Hircock of West Des Moines, Iowa; Taylor Hircock of Adel; Cody and wife Ainslie Hircock of Colorado Springs, Colorado; other relatives and friends.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Guthrie County, Iowa.

Visitation:
The family will meet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon.

Service:
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jud Stover on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Audubon, Iowa.
