Cindy Lu Nuzum

Cindy Lu Nuzum, the daughter of R.C. and Ada Roxie Keith Bennefield was born August 5, 1963 in Laredo, Texas and died September 14, 2011 at her home near Audubon, Iowa at the age of 48 years, 1 month, and 9 days. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Marvin Bennefield and Royce Bennefield; her sister Cherry Tyler; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Charlotte Cox and Brian Nuzum. Survivors include her husband Roger Nuzum of Audubon, Iowa; her sisters: Alice And husband Bobby VanDorn of Round Rock, Texas; Sarah Wilhite of Mineral Springs, Colorado; Mandy of Houston, Texas; and Martha of Missouri; her uncle G.W. and wife Sue Keith of Georgetown, Texas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Bob and wife Nettie Nuzum of Woodbine, Iowa; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Roxanna Bennefield of Belton, Texas; Jim Nuzum of Woodbine; Rosella Shelby of Kimballton, Iowa; Rita and husband Butch Schumate of Dow City, Iowa; Reta and husband Tom Crampton of Vail, Iowa; Ronnie Cox and Lori Nuzum both of Woodbine; Cheryl and husband Bryan Kruger; Gale and wife Teresa Nuzum all of Omaha, Nebraksa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Per her request Cindy was cremated. There will be no services locally. Inurnment will be in Texas at a later date.
