Connie M. Beymer, 58, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Atlantic Specialty in Atlantic.

Connie Marie Beymer was born July 21, 1959, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Kenneth and Marie (Boch) Beymer. She spent her entire life in Atlantic graduating from the Atlantic High School. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic.

Connie enjoyed fishing, swimming, skating, and collecting monkeys. She loved anything with the color purple. She had an Indian collection and many other dolls she collected. She enjoyed supporting the student activities and going to all the sporting events in Atlantic. She liked attending craft shows, Coke Days, Atlanticfest, the Cass County Fair, and going to garage sales. She never met a stranger and was friendly to all. Connie loved being with her dog, Alice, but her most beloved time was that spent with her grandchildren. Connie enjoyed life.

Preceding Connie in death were her parents, Kenneth and Marie Beymer, her granddaughter, Gracie Ann, and many other family members.

Surviving Connie is her son, Jason (April) Beymer and their children, J.D. Jr. and Zee Kenneth Beymer; her daughter, Nicole (Mike) Jensen and their five children, Madison, Holden, Jaden, Tristan, Ashton, and future grandson due in a few months; brothers, Ron (Shari) Beymer and Mike (Donna) Beymer: her sisters, Theresa (Ray) Logamann and Mary (Clay) Gittins; many nieces and nephews who she loved deeply; and her dog, Alice.

There will be a prayer service at 1:00 p.m. with family visitation starting right after and lasting until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Hockenberry Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery all in Atlantic, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, please designate memorials to the family.
