Connie L Jensen

Connie Jensen, age 85, of Anita, died Friday, February 23, 2024 at Cass Community Health Care Center in Atlantic, IA after a short illness. She was born on May 24, 1938, to Harold and Hallie (Dement) Cooper. She graduated from Adair High School.

On March 17, 1957, Connie was united in marriage to Dale Jensen, and they had 4 children, Ronald, Jeffrey, Penny, and Jerry. Dale passed away on November 28, 2023.

Connie and Dale operated Jensen Foods grocery store in Anita for more than 40 years. After retiring from the grocery store, she and Dale managed Crestwood Hills Golf Course in Anita for several years.

Connie is survived by her children, Ron (Cheryl) Jensen of Anita; Penny Brahms of Anita, and Jerry Jensen (Mark Reynolds) of Omaha, grandson Simon (Tori) Jensen, great granddaughters Kinsley and Marlee, sister Sherrill Karns, brothers Tom (Shara) Cooper and Keith (Deanna) Cooper, and step grandsons Nick and Ryan Rote.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Hallie Cooper, husband Dale, son Jeffrey, and brother Clark Cooper.

A celebration of life open house for both Connie and Dale will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from
