Delaine Richardson-Bailey

DeLaine I. Richardson-Bailey, 70, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at her home.
DeLaine Irene Richardson was born on September 8, 1936, in Keystone, South Dakota, the daughter of Chris and Roberta (Richardson) Vranich.
She was married to James Bailey on September 17, 1988 in Coeurd'Alene, Idaho.
DeLaine will be remembered for how she loved her family. She will also be remembered because of the hard battle she fought with cancer.
DeLaine is survived by her husband Jim Bailey of Atlantic, Iowa; daughters, Rica (Ray) Hansen and Shari Srader (John Becker), all of Montana; son, Ryan Bailey and his fiancée, Ashley of Coeurd' Alene, ID; grandchildren, Verlyn Richardson, Nina Schnell, Raymond Hansen, Shasta Schnell and George Cole Richardson; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Lou (Ken) Schmaultz of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Vi Hanson and Ann Reiter; brothers, Chris Vranich, Fred Vranich and Jim Pollock; and a granddaughter, Dana Schnell.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2006, in Hockenberry Family Care's Chapel. DeLaine has been cremated and no visitation is scheduled.
