Delmer Dean Walker

Delmer D. Walker, 88 of Adair, IA, passed away on December 12, 2024, at the Community Care Center, Stuart, IA. He was born the son of Elmer George and Viola Marie (Krause) Walker on July 1, 1936 in Adair, IA and graduated from Adair High School.

Delmer was employed for many years at the Farmers Lumber Company, Adair, IA. He also held numerous jobs that supported many citizens of the Adair community.

He was baptized and confirmed at the St. John’s Lutheran Church located Northwest of Adair. After moving into Adair, Delmer became a very faithful servant of the Immanuel Lutheran Church until it’s closing when he became of member of Zion Lutheran Church, Atlantic, IA.

Delmer is survived by his brother, Garry (Janet Smith) of Peoria, AZ and sister, Norma Waage (Larry) of West Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Viola Walker.
