Dennis Fleming

Dennis James Fleming passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2014 at his residence in Omaha, Nebraska, after an extended illness.

Dennis was born May 5, 1951, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to parents James and Delores (Gray) Fleming.

He spent his early years in the Shenandoah and Oakland, Iowa, areas. Dennis graduated from Oakland High School with the class of 1969. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1972. He was an over the road truck driver most of his life.

Dennis is survived by his longtime friend and soul mate Anedra, her children and grandchildren of Omaha, NE; his Aunt Billie Fleming of Atlantic, IA; cousins; Glenn and Lyle Fleming of Atlantic, IA, Michael Fleming of Council Bluffs, IA and Kenna Henderson (Jesse Lopez) of Omaha, NE; and a host of friends who were like his family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike in 1972, and many aunts and uncles.

There is no funeral service planned and a private family burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
