Donald Norris

Donald Otis Norris, 70, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at his home in Atlantic.

Donald was born March 20, 1945, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Floyd Otis and Theo Lily (Chancey) Norris. He grew up in Mound City, MO. He lived in a number of cities, including Red Oak, until moving to Atlantic three years ago. Donald worked as a truck driver as well as in several other occupations. He was married to Ida Bartlett on October 7, 1963.

Preceding Donald in death were his parents.

Donald is survived by his wife, Ida of Atlantic, IA; daughters, Donna (Jack) Sams of Atlantic, IA and Margaret (Adam) Nagunst of Council Bluffs, IA; a son, Donald Norris Jr. of Anita, IA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenny Norris of Chandler, AZ; and a sister, Cheryl Wheelis of San Angelo, TX.

Per Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
