They recently moved to Atlantic, IA, to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Frank was an avid golfer. His accomplishments included being a 3-time Algona Country Club champion, Algona Open champion and having 5 holes-in-one. He enjoyed sharing his love of golf with his children, being their first teacher. His other interests included bird hunting, bowling, flying, playing cards, stamp and coin collecting, and dabbling in the stock market. Frank took a great interest in supporting Native American schools in South Dakota and Arizona.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, of Atlantic, IA; daughter, Jeanne Wilson (Ralph) of Omaha, NE; son, John Rueb (Rose) of Atlantic, IA; grandchildren, Lindsey Wilson and Sean Wilson of Omaha; Amanda Rueb Harrold (Adam) of Council Bluffs, IA; Andrew Rueb of Brookings, SD; one great-grandchild, Jayden Harrold; and sister, Mary J.
