Jayne Henrich, the daughter of Urban and Helen Jayne Henrich, was born August 5, 1955, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and died November 4, 2010, at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital in Audubon, Iowa at the age of 55 years, 2 months, and 29 days.
Jayne was baptized at the Sioux Falls Christian Church. She attended Sioux Falls Community Schools graduating from Washington High School with the Class of 1973. Jayne then did clerical work in Sioux Falls for several years. In the mid 1970s she moved to Clear Lake, California and later lived in Napa, California and Sonoma, California where she continued doing clerical work. In November of 1995 she and her daughter Molly moved to Exira, Iowa. Jayne was employed at the Clarinda Company in Atlantic, Iowa for a short time. She then did clerical work for Larsen Ford for several years. Jayne has been employed at the Audubon County Hospital in Audubon for the past several years working in the Medical Transcription Department.
Jayne was a member of the Exira Christian Church and had taught Sunday School. She had served on the Exira Library Board and helped with the Fall Festival. She was a member of the Exira Community Band where she played her clarinet. She served as the Treasurer of the Band Boosters for several years. Jayne was an avid supporter of the Exira Community Schools Athletic Programs but most of all was an avid supporter of her daughter Molly.
Jayne was preceded in death by her father Urban Henrich and her step father Art Runge and her grandparents: Charles and Emma Jayne..
Jayne is survived by her daughter Molly Boylan and her mother Helen Runge both of Exira, Iowa; Robert Boylan of Lihue, Hawaii; Conroy Boylan of San Francisco, California; Michael Boylan of Fresno, California; other relatives and many, many friends.
Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Exira Cemetery in Exira.
Visitation:
The family will meet with friends on Sunday, November 7, 2010, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira, Iowa.
Service:
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Glen Meyers on Monday, November 8, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. at the Exira Christian Church in Exira.
