Jero Guzinski

Jero D. Guzinski, 62, of Casey, Iowa, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2007, at his home in rural Casey.
Jero Darrel Guzinski was born on January 12, 1945, in Jefferson, Iowa, the son of Pete and Helen (Waryden) Guzinski.
Jero attended school in Panora, Iowa, and graduated from Panora High School in 1963.
On February 27, 1965, he was married to Donna Rose LeFluer at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Panora, Iowa. Jero has been a farmer his entire life. He and Donna Rose have lived in rural Casey for the last 42 years.
Jero loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and doing various things outdoors including hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Rose of Casey, Iowa; two daughters, Beckie Andersen and her husband, Matt of Independence, Iowa, and Brenda Halterman and her husband, Brad of Stuart, Iowa; one son, Vince Gusinski and his wife, Amanda of Stuart, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Vern Guzinski of Casey, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jero is preceded in death by his parents; 2 infant daughters; and great nephew, Mike Guzinski.
Jero has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Hockenberry Funeral Home in Casey is in charge of the arrangements.
