Keith Staples

Keith Staples the son of Charles and Francis (Bussie) Staples, was born September 9, 1931 in Cavalier, ND and died April 13, 2008, at his home in Omaha, NE at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 4 days.
Keith attended school in Cavalier and served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952 until he was honorably discharged in December of 1955.
Keith married Yvonne Jorgensen. Three children, Jackie, John and Gary were born to this union. Keith worked as an over-the-road trucker, but also worked as a Superintendent for Iowa Beef, and Missouri Beef, and was a member and president of the Audubon, Iowa V.F.W. and past member of Nebraska City, and Auburn, NE American Legion Post.
Preceding him in death were his parents, three sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne of Glenwood, IA; his daughter Jackie Staples of Omaha, NE; his sons: John and wife Diane Staples and Gary and wife Patty Staples all of Carroll, IA; his grandchildren: Linda and husband Mark Steffen of Bettendorf, IA, Allie Staples and Brandon Staples both of Carroll, Kerri and husband Bill Finner of Kansas City, MO, Tucker Staples of Mt. Home, AR, Eric and wife McKenzie Staples and Trista Staples all of Carroll; 13 great grandchildren; five nephews, three nieces and their families; other relatives and friends.

Cemetery:
Inurnment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. Graveside military services will be conducted by Audubon Post No. 120, American Legion and Dale Christensen Post No. 4119, Audubon V.F.W

Visitation:
The family will meet friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon.

Service:
Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Christopher Martin on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon.
