Lloyd Cron, age 91, passed away surrounded by loved ones at his farm on September 21, 2023. Lloyd Cron was born on May 16, 1932, to William “Bill” A. and Leona M. (Kirchner) Cron. He resided and farmed north of Lyman his entire life. Lloyd also worked for Henningsen Construction as a truck driver for many years.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents William and Leona Cron; his stepfather George Voiles; his sisters Lowene Dobernecker and Jo Steele; and his son Jeffrey A. Cron.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Cron; daughter, Julie Cron McIntyre and stepson, Tim (Carrie) Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Lloyd's wishes, he has privately become one with the land he loved.
Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic, IA, handled the arrangements.
