Marjorie Hansen, age 76 of Exira, died on Monday, July 8, 2024, at CHI Bergan-Mercy Hospital in Omaha. She was born the daughter of Nels and Anna (Lund) Christensen on June 8, 1948, in Audubon, IA.
In July of 1973, Marjorie was united in marriage to Galen Lynn Hansen. She was employed at Glacier Vanderbilt in Atlantic for many years
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Galen Hansen; brothers, Robert & Dallas Christensen; sisters, Dorothy Lebeck and Erma Jensen; and a nephew, Matthew Christensen. Survived by, her son Ryan (Ashley) Hansen of Exira, IA; two grandchildren; and sisters, Violet Rush of Atlantic, IA and Lois Pfeiffer of Lake Havasu City, AZ.
A private family burial will take place at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, Iowa on August 8th, 2024. The Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Exira is caring for Marjorie and her family at this time and condolences can be sent at: schmidtFamilyfh.com
