Rick Beauchamp

Rick Beauchamp, 50, of Griswold, Iowa, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, at his home in Griswold.


Ricky Ray Beauchamp was born January 7, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Gaylord and Joyce (Reinier) Beauchamp. Rick graduated from the Atlantic High School in 1983.

Rick had worked as a mechanic for Henningsen's and Pelgrow in Atlantic.

Some of Rick's favorite activities were watching NASCAR and stock car races. He liked antique automobiles, music and late night drives on country roads. He enjoyed hanging out with his parents, children and his grandson.

Preceding Rick in death were his grandparents, Lowell and Reva Reinier, and Edmond and Emma Beauchamp.

Surviving Rick are his parents, Gaylord and Joyce Beauchamp of Wiota, IA; his daughters, Tabitha Andersen and her husband Taylor of Atlantic, IA and Morgan Beauchamp and her special friend Alex Minor of Atlantic, IA; his grandson, Noah Andersen of Atlantic, IA; his brother, Randy Beauchamp and his wife Renee of Omaha, NE; step-brothers, Tim Beauchamp of Atlantic, IA and Jeff Beauchamp and his wife Shumei of Las Vegas, NV; step-sister, Linda Riedemann and her husband Ron of Atlantic, IA; aunt, Beverly Spurgeon of Wiota, IA; uncles, Larry Reinier and Michael Reinier both of Ottumwa, IA; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic with burial in the Atlantic Cemetery.
