Ronald Dean Just, 75, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa.

He was born December 16, 1938 in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Frank and Thelma (Butler) Just. He graduated from Anita High School with the class of 1957. Ron was united in marriage to Judy Thielen on November 7, 1959, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic, IA.

Ron spent his whole life in the Atlantic area. He retired from Camblin Plumbing & Heating/Camblin Mechanical, Inc. in 2008 after 49 years of service and continued to consult to present day. He was an active member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Nishna Hills Golf Club. Ron also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Ron enjoyed golfing - especially with The Wobblies on Mondays, square dancing, co-hosting an annual breakfast for family and friends, collecting hats and Lennox trucks, and going to dinner with the Thursday night group. His greatest love was for his family, especially the grandchildren, as they could do no wrong.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Just of Atlantic, IA; his sons, Kevin (Caryn) Just of Atlantic, IA, Doug (Lori) Just of Hobe Sound, FL, and Troy (Kelly) Just of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Meghan (Brandon) White, Jessica Just, and Tyler Just, all of Hobe Sound, FL, Hannah Just of Atlantic, IA, and Devyn Just and Emerson Just both of Lincoln, NE; his twin brother, Robert (Suzanne) Just; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Davies, Jerry and Felicia Thielen, Blaine and LaVonne Brown, Phil and Mary Jo Thielen, Neil and JoAnn Thielen, Roger Thielen, and David and Becky Thielen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his Camblin family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Thelma Just; parents-in-law, Joe and Irene (Feldman) Thielen; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Maurice Croghan, and nephew, Casey Thielen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the family to be used per Ron's wishes at a later date.

Visitation with family will be from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic, with a Prayer service at 9:00 a.m.

Mass of Christian burial will also be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic, IA.

Burial will be in the Atlantic Catholic Cemetery in Atlantic, IA.

A luncheon will be held at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Parish Center following the committal service.
