Scott Stephenson

Scott Ronald Stephenson was born January 17, 1990, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Alan Stephenson and Debra Nokes and passed away February 24, 2014, at his home in Adair, Iowa.

Scott was a long time employee at Wal-mart in Atlantic, Iowa.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Gabriella Embry of Illinois; his mother, Debra Nokes of Lytton, Iowa; brothers, Chad Stephenson and his wife Traci and their children Cadence, Jillian and Cain of Adair, Iowa, and Tate Park of Lytton, Iowa; his sister, Samantha Hansen and her children Tyla, Blake, Eric and Cameron of LaVista, Nebraska; his grandparents, Marilyn Stephenson of Adair, Iowa, Roberta Nokes of Des Moines, Iowa, and Ronald Nokes of Newton, Iowa; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Alan Stephenson, and grandfather, Rex Stephenson.

Scott was known for the hat on his head and the smile on his face. He will be loved and missed by all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adair. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2014, also at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adair.


The family invites everyone to a luncheon at the church following the memorial service.
