Timothy Imhoff

Timothy Imhoff, 38, of Loveland, Colorado, (formerly of Atlantic, Iowa) passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Timothy Lee Imhoff was born March 31, 1970, the son of Robert and Carolyn (Foubert) Imhoff in Meringo, Iowa. He was born again at the Fellowship of Faith Church in Oakland, Iowa.

He Lived in Marengo until 1972, when the family moved to Griswold, Iowa. In 1977 the family became residents of Atlantic. They then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, for about a year and a half before moving back to Atlantic. In March of 2008 Tim moved to Loveland, Colorado.

Tim attended kindergarten and first grade in the Griswold school system. From second to the seventh grade he attended Lincoln school in Atlantic. He attended the eighth grade in Fort Collins, and then returned to Atlantic schools through the tenth grade.

He was a welder by trade. Tim was employed at Hellman's Machine shop in Atlantic for 15 years, three of which he was the owner. He was also employed at Certified Transmission in Omaha, Nebraska, and most recently at Tanco Engineering in Loveland, Colorado.

Tim was a very caring, giving man, willing to share all that he had. He gave until the very end by being an organ and tissue donor. He loved the outdoors, the mountains, four wheeling, cars (especially his Jeep and Corvettes), big block Chevys or anything with an engine for that matter. But most of all he loved his sons, his family, and his friends.

Those left to cherish Tim's memory include his sons; Corey Witt (age 19) and his mother, Lisa Silence, Timothy Taylor (age 14) and his mother, Billie Taylor-McLaren, and Gage Imhoff (age 8 months) and his mother and Tim's special friend Nikki Mack; his father, Robert Imhoff and his wife, Jan; his mother, Carol Phippen; his sister, Lisa Clark-Hansen; his brothers, Donald Imhoff and his wife Jane, Rob Imhoff and his fiancé, Shelly Kohanes, and Mark Phippen; his step brother, Chris Ambrose; his grandmother, Dorothy Imhoff; his nephews, Brett Imhoff, Dylan Nelsen and Brandan Clark; his nieces, Kayla Imhoff, Taylor Hansen, Brittney Kohanes, Brandy Kohanes and Ashley Imhoff; his aunts, Irene Larimer, Doris Jacobs, Harriett Kinsler and her husband, Mark, Julie Fischer and her husband, Rod, Bonnie Oxley, Sandra Stoddard and her husband, Kenneth, and Jo-ann Robinson; his uncles, Herman Imhoff and his wife, Pasty, David Imhoff and his wife, Jackie, Richard Imhoff and his wife, Jackie, Jerry Imhoff and his wife, Pasty, Tom Imhoff and his wife, Linda, Dennis Imhoff and his wife, Cindy, Keith Foubert, Melvin Foubert and his wife, Karen, and Douglas Foubert and his wife, Audrey; his best and closest friend, John Waltz; and many, many cousins and beloved friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Antone Imhoff, and George and Beatrice Foubert; his uncles Eugene Imhoff, , Russell Jacobs, and Donald James Foubert; his cousins, Jamie Robinson, Robbie Robinson, in infancy and Billy Larimer.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic, Iowa. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic. Lunch and fellowship will follow the service in Hockenberry's Community Room.
